Summer Favorites!

Man didn't this summer fly by?  I mean, it did start a little late since it was cold until June, but still, I can't believe it's over.  Next up is fall, my FAVORITE season of the year and I've been loving the cooler air and filtered sunlight and hope it lasts longer than the ol summer did.

Before we move on to the most glorious season of the year, lets look back at the highlights of summer 2011.

I finished a FIVE WEEK long marathon of Battlestar Galactica episodes.  Don't hate until you've watched a couple episodes, it's addicting

Weekend trip to Taos. I'd never been before and it was a pleasant surprise.  Us girls spent the day seeing the sights (plaza, gorge, ski basin) and then the boys met up with us later for drinks, dinner, and sleeping at Hotel La Fonda on the plaza.

Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers: AMAZING.  Bluegrass concert at Popejoy with my mom: priceless. 

Quality time with Sha-nay-nay-Narayan :)  2 1/2 years old and already knows everything

Honorable mentions:  giant moths and LOVED all the lightning and rain this monsoon

We went to the Ranch more times this summer than ever before and this last time we finally took my mom, sister and nephew.  With all the rain, everything is in full bloom!
